About this course

A cyberbullying policy is only useful if staff, students and parents can act on it. This free workshop style course takes the CyberSafeTT policy template and builds it out section by section: definition, the forms cyberbullying takes, why it is often treated as more serious than traditional bullying, the link to discrimination on grounds of gender, race, religion, background, sexual orientation and disability, reporting routes, investigation, support for the target, consequences for the aggressor, and review. It is written to sit under an existing anti bullying policy and to be adapted, not copied blindly.
