About this course
Welcome to the CyberSafeTT Cyberbullying Course! In this course, we will learn how to keep our "digital playground" safe and fun. The internet is like the streets of Port of Spain or the beaches in Tobago. It is a place where we meet people and have fun. But just like in real life, we must follow rules and be kind to our neighbours. Cyberbullying is a big word. Do not worry! By the end of this course, you will be a Digital Defender. You will know how to spot cyberbullying, how to stop it, and how to stay safe online. You will also learn who can help you in Trinidad and Tobago.
What you'll be able to do
- Understand what cyberbullying is and name its different forms.
- Know the plain-language meaning of the T&T Cyber Crime Bill.
- Learn the Stop–Block–Screenshot–Tell plan.
- Tell the difference between a Bystander and an Upstander.
- Know who to contact in Trinidad and Tobago if things go wrong.
